Full Version: Is there interest in vials

I am trying to determine if I need to make another pass at the vial thing. I am completely out - with only a handful of vials of my own that currently have samples in them. With the current house building effort, I don't want to accumulate a lot of "stuff" I'll just have to box up.

But if there is enough interest, I'll get another order going.

Thanks all.

Kcat,

I have about 100 of these HDPE 7 ml. vials with screw caps that you could have for free:

They're a different shape, and the opening is 11mm. rather than 16 on the Peti-vials, but they're durable and can ship ink without fear of leakage.

I also have transfer pipettes, and could send 50 of those as well.

Let me know,

Kcat,
I got an original shipment, and still have all I need I think. Once I started trading, my stock didn't go down, they just got filled up with ink!

For anyone who doesn't have some and is interested in trading inks, its a great system. I have a small ink collection, but my trading has allowed me to collect at least 20 different inks for just he price of postage and goodwill. Order up!

Thanks for the offer, Elaine but I already have one committment for at least 40 of the the other vials. Though I may want to snag a few of yours for my own use. :)Some of my pens might fit in an 11 mm opening. most won't. But that's where the pipets come in of course. Handy little critters, eh?

So far I've heard of two failures of the Peti-vials. Apparently a Dutch gorilla jumped on one of them. The other was poor capping on my part. But they seem to hold up fairly well.

Do you have proof of this? rolleyes.gif

I think it was a Texan elephant... laugh.gif

P.S.: the first vote of 20 or more of vials here was mine smile.gif .

Don't really need vials KC - but as Roy said, they are incredibly useful, so if you are close to an order, just go ahead and you can be confident of getting rid of the excess before the move through us.

Thanks folks - I'll order tomorrow. Since I tend to trade for things other than more ink samples, I tend to run out of them faster. so perhaps I should set aside some for myself this time? tongue.gif

KCat I thought you passed the Vial Torch on to Dillon, and I just recieved a bag-full from him last week! If you end up with extra, we will help you get rid of them, Fear Not!
