For those people interested in Delta FP's...

I got today one Don Quijote LE 1KS green FP just to have some pictures taken. This is the first of a batch of 100 which will be available shortly (details will be posted in Marketplace) and just wanted to share the beauty of this pen till then...

It is a piston filler, as opposed to the usual lever filler which is almost a norm by Delta's LE's. The sterling silver metal work is just one to be admired, both by the subject and because of excellent workmanship. The pen is up to highest Delta quality standards. It will surely be of interest... enjoy.

Thanks for the great pictures and for sharing all your pens with us. Congratulations on your new Delta. El Quijote is one of my favourite books...and that is a lovely pen! I like the top of the cap with its "hat" and the lance-shaped clip, but the barrel carvings are truly beautiful. Does it also show Sancho Panza?

Now I go back to laughing, err no, reading El Lazarillo de Tormes!

This one is still not in my collection, but no doubt it has its place already reserved, also there will be one place for a red 1K, but this is the project for the next 4-5 months...

Yes, there is also Sancho Panza, Rocinante and Rucio, as well as one of the giants (a windmill). The carving is really spectacular and very well designed and done. I still do not know the final price that the pen will reach but sure it will be well worth, and that is because my decission has been already taken

Shortly I will be making the detailed pictures and will load them up into a new report with the relevant info in case somebody is interested in getting one of this series when available from our dealer...
