A recent, as in Friday, arrival. The Grand Connaisseurs were made in both the U.S. and England and this is the England pen, so marked on the back of the cap band and bearing appropriate English hallmarks. The nib is the first style, larger Grand Connaisseur nib in the metal threaded section. The section is numbered and has the nib size stamped in the metal rather than being screened on the plastic part as most modern Sheaffers have been.
Original tarnish that I didn't want to polish off. The background of the photo is the the black, tri-fold box for the pen.
