My Vanishing Point is my only fine nib pen in my collection right now. I always read
that Namiki's fine nibs including the ones on the Bamboo not just the Vanishing Point
really write like xtra-fines. That is definitely true. I have tried fine point pens from
Aurora and Omas and they lay down a line similar to a med. rollerball as far as
width goes maybe even a little wider.

My fine nib Vanishing Point and M605 with a fine rollerball refill are a dead even in
line thickness! Which is very thin!

If you are a cursive writer a fine nib Vanishing Point will definitely be a little scratchy.

Here's to the newbie and future Vanishing Point owners. Like Oprah (Dope-Rah) would say "we speak your name" lticaptd.gif

Nicely done. I'm not yet a Vanishing point owner, so I really appreciate the review and line comparison. It helps me to see the extra fine line and not just read the nib writes like an extra fine.

First, i must say bored people are wonderful... cause im one of them. =P.

Great comparison pictures! Your handwriting is always neat to look at and those swirlies.... they're just so hypnotizing @.@

And those telephone poles are great too, now you just need wires and some birds.

Oh, also forgot to ask. How wet/dry to they write?? and what ink are you using?? Thanks.

My fine point VP has excellent ink flow with the Visconti Black that I am using and I could say its a wet line but because it is such a narrow line it instantly gets absorbed into the paper. Put it to you this way...its definately not a dry line.
