I received a 1930's Rotring Tintenkuli stylograph pen from the 1930's from a friend to restore and sell. The plunger still works and I'm not fiddling with it. However the needle was stuck in the tube and I finally got it out but it is shot. I was thinking of using .012 in. (0.3mm?) stainless steel guitar string for the needle which is simply glued to the tip of the plastic weight for the needle. It should be straight and stiff enough to work. Do you see any problems with this?

Thanks!

Steve
