I just wanted to say that I too got buzzed by this virus. It said that it was from the FPN admins, but I've not done anything too obnoxious yet to get a pink slip. The file labeled itself as a windows 95 exe. so I just deleted the piece of anathema. Has anybody here been bitten by it and suffered severe damage? I regret just chiming in, but I don't check my bulk mail regularly.

It is rather easy to recognize as a message not originationg from our own email address here, as we donīt do pink slips, only flaming red ones laugh.gif.

I was wondering about that myself. The funny thing is that it looks like I was the only one so far who didnīt notice a single thing at all, except from an email rather late in the process.

For me the Email wasn't the problem. I came here to see why it might have been generated, but the site was already offline, even so, something kept trying to download from here and my AV kept killing it.

glad all is well again.

Hi,

I for one did not know, so I sent the admins an email telling them I would be coming back and the bad email.
