The orange iPod was a nice (unexpected) touch. I really like my Safaris, too

I want a yellow one. After my Parker 51, my LAMY Charcoal is my favorite pen.

the white pagers with purple cover? It's just a cheap journal book I picked up at Odd Job a number of years ago and I'm finally using.

I like your stickers and your bright teal calculator too!

Very nice pics, Betty! I too like the Lamy Safari, and I must admit I really like that blue one too. cool.gif

I had a blue Safari, but I managed to lose it. ohmy.gif

Still have my black and red ones, however. Workhorse pens - they never stop writing. biggrin.gif

I would probably use my Safari more if it wrote right...it just doesn't flow the way I want it to, and it's REALLY light. That, and the blackened nib just doesn't do it for me. Anyone want to trade for one with a silvered nib? smile.gif

Beautiful pictures! Especially the second one... drool.gif

I happen to have both the coated black and uncoated steel nibs in Fine, and both seem to work the same... dry and a bit scratchy. That's from my experience, but it may very depend on the type of ink you use too. biggrin.gif

Now I have the LE blue one coming in with a M nib. See what pretty pictures make me do...

It's really a regular white ipod with a generic brand orange cover to it. wink.gif

my friend wanted me to help him buy a nice cheap fountain pen he could use everyday, and i recommended the Vector and the Lamy Safari.

He ended up buying the Lamy, coz we couldnt find any Vectors.

Apparently those plastic vectors are not sold in Australia anymore (replaced by the ugly looking Reflexes), though the Flighter vectors are still sold.

Lamy Safaris - VERY NICE PENS laugh.gif

Very nice photos! I am hoping to buy my first Safari soon! I tried someone elses Safari and I WANT MY OWN!!!!!
happy_time
I didn't know Lamy Safari came with steel nib.
I would actually want metal looking steel nib rather than my black chromium-plated steel nib.
Anyways here are the photos of my Safari.
Sidney
The Safari comes with a black chromium-plated steel nib, not plastic.
