I just received in the mail my two new “tactical carry” DaniTrio – the black lacquer(#1) and the metallic grey (#2). Kevin just posted in the Marketplace that he has sold all 80. I thought that quite impressive, and I’m guessing that many of those were sold to FPNers. So what do you think of your new pen(s)? I inked up the black lacquer with Sheaffer black and I’m very pleased with this pen so far. Its heavier than the other DaniTrio pens I’ve used – a Densho and a Hanryo – but I think I like the weight of this one. And I really like the size of the nib relative to the rest of the pen. I'll probably keep the other to give as a gift at some point - its a sharp looking pen. Anyway, hope to hear from some of you!

Mine should be here today or tomorrow. I'm hoping I have found a home for Tahitian Pearl What is the size like comepared to the Hanryo or Densho?

Its much closer to the Densho, though it is a little wider in the middle. I think the section is about the same width, but as you will see, the nib is a great deal larger, and these haev a bit of a drop from the body to the nib section.

I used mine all day today and loved it!

Now all we need to do it convince Dani that they need to start doing them in wood...
How about some Snakewood from Surinam.... or maybe an Urushi Snakewood effect.
Of course the price will no longer be $27.00....

Now that would be cool!!! I have 1 of the pens and they are great all around pens to use while I am at work!!! Great writers and that IPG nib writes like a charm!!!
