Hi!

Recently I bought a Pelikan M1000. Just one drawback: the pencase I had in mind for it is simply too small. wallbash.gif Since I want to use it for writing and not for collecting scratches I do need a good pencase...

I was just wondering what kind of case other M1000 owners use. I've looked around in local shops, but to no avail. Maybe there are online options? I'd like to know.

Best regards!

There is a leather Pelikan pen case here:

Notice the long flap, which allows the case to hold long pens.
Externally, the pen compartment is about 11.8 cm long.
When the flap is open, the case is about 26 cm long.
The 3 pen case holds 2 Pelikan M1000 pens easily, (or 3 M1000 pens with a tight squeeze).
When the pen is in the case, and the flap is open, about 3 cm of the pen's cap is on display.

Try a Tobacconist (or whatever they call a shop that sells big fancy cigars) and ask what they sell to protect their largest cigars? I''m pretty sure you will find something that will fit a 1000.

I got given a real cheap pen and pencil set a couple of Christmas's ago. They came with a leather case which is exactly the right size for my M1000 biggrin.gif

Mont Blanc make a case for the Meisterstuck 149 so you could buy one of those, same country of origin, and take the MB logo off

Thanks for the tip!

I succeeded in buying a really nice Pelikan pencase about three weeks ago. It had been lying (according to the lady in the shop) in a drawer for a couple of years. It was intended for two pens, but I removed the divider and now my M1000 fits in perfectly! ;-)
