I have been trying to post an avatar, cannot get the picture to conform to the required specifications as requested on the controls. My pictures are invariably more than 100kb and large pixel size. I'm using a Canon A510, beats me wallbash.gif

Please advise, I want to post a pisture I have taken of my little girl. I see that many of you folks post really nice avatars and pictures.

Also, if I want to post a picture, does it have to go through a server, or can I post it by uploading from my computer? blink.gif

Thanks for any advice.

Dan, send me the picture at tom(at)myfavoritepen.com and I will resize it for you... just let me know the size you need ... The better the initial quality, the better the smaller one will be also

Tom, what do you think of this, I've seen much larger pictures, I have used a server for this, photoamp.com

I would gladly send you the picture, however I would really like to learn how to get it right, don't want to bug you with this rolleyes.gif Do I downsize or enlarge pictures with special software?

Daniel
