People often ask about the case I carry and tonight I snapped a few quick pics...

This bag currently carries my dayplanner, 11 pens, one pencil, an electronic planner, my chequebook, cel phone, and a bunch of misc things like a mini nib kit and loupe that's tucked into the inside pocket.

It's about 7 x 9 and 3 inches deep and I rarely leave home without it.
Maja
It must be sooo handy, Keith...Do you carry it by the straps or sling it over your shoulder and across your chest (like a messenger bag) or just on one shoulder (like a purse)?

Inquiring minds want to know.... laugh.gif
Cam
I'd like to see the man himself modelling it!! wink.gif

Maja - I carry it by the handle or sling it over my shoulder, depending on what I'm doing and it is an incredibly handy accessory. I never have to worry about leaving important things behind because I've changed jackets or left something in my pants pocket.

Cam, I think my modelling days are over... laugh.gif

Hey, I have one of those! Good, now I won't feel less macho using it laugh.gif

i hate to tell you guys this...

but the very fact that you use and obsess over fountain pens already depletes some of your machismo. biggrin.gif
Keith with a capital K
I think the fact I spent the morning dealing with power tools, noxious chemicals, and managed to keep the littlest chicklet in line while her mom slept in is worth of a few more macho points.
KCat
yeah - it balances out. hubby loses macho points for sniffling during Joan of Arcadia. But gains them for 5 hours of tree trimming and mowing.

watching the kids is a good thing - but doesn't count toward macho - remember, women do it all the time... wink.gif
Gerry
Sounds like KC has this down to a science. Probably uses a scoresheet / checklist wink.gif

Hey, my sweetie came home yesterday with a beautiful mitre box saw (whatever)
And let me tell you guys she knows how to use power tools blush.gif
But she also can sew and cook and loves to garden ohmy.gif
Ok Kcat, let's see ya figure this out laugh.gif laugh.gif

My better half and I watch over our mutual nerd points. Let me tell you that the whole FP thing boosted my score big time tongue.gif I granted her a big jump in nerdiness when I came home to find her with the headphones over her ears, dancing to music she would never admit having ever listened to... she was "working out", said she... biggrin.gif

heh! My hubby brags to his friends that one year all I wanted for my Birthday was a Wagner Power Painter.

And I got one!

I hate cooking. But will do it if pressed. smile.gif

no checklist, Gerry - well, okay, maybe a mental one. But I can GARONTEE that he's got one, too! Some days he says "we're very domestic today aren't we." A not-so-subtle way of pointing out that I am otherwise, not. my house is clean, but will never be in the pages of Architectural Digest.

uh oh.

no one sees me dance.

I was once called "Poultry in motion" and it has stuck. I run into walls.

Nerd-factor: 10.

I love cooking. But in my backward Old Europe homeland, it's considered as much a male than a female's art biggrin.gif

All that is very culturally relative... at least, that's what I say to my wife laugh.gif
KCat
'round heuh men mostly only cook for tailgate parties.
Denis Richard
well... I don't want to get into the argument we always have at home when FoodNetwork features BBQ thingies... but... BBQ is not cooking...

I think the guys here just try to pretend that they are cooking when they BBQ... "see honey, I'm cooking"...

BBQ is having a lot of fun, outdoor, playing with fire and food... a guy's dream laugh.gif
Keith with a capital K
BBQ is not cooking?

Just for that I won't be making you any of my marinated chili-lime chicken with grilled asparagus.

I guess I should remember this comes from a guy who hails froma country where the legs of frogs and snails are considered delicacies.

wink.gif

I'll take my BBq thankyouverymuch.
Gerry
C'mon Keith. You know snails ain't got legs... smile.gif

Actually, these are very rural popular traditional food. Only when it crosses the ocean does it become a "delicacy" laugh.gif
