This is the new Lexington Gray by Noodler's. I find it a very enjoyable and useful ink.

Superb review! Thanks. Very nice scan (or is it a photo?). Glad to see it's a true, neutral gray and it shades. From the places where you went over it twice, looks like it would be a nice darker gray out of a wet nib. Superb!

No feathering on bad paper. Good news!
KRZ: Thanks for writing it on bad paper. How much, if at all, did it go into or through that paper?

I am thinking about getting a bottle of Lex. Gray. Anyone know if there is a better match to a Chrome and Rhodium VP? I would prefer if the ink were at least water-resistant, though it doesn't have to be bulletproof.

It is cheaper to buy a noodlers black bottle and dilute it 1/10 with water. You get a very similar ink, at 1/10th the price
