I checked Tibaldi's website today and it's live now:

I'm currently obessesed/crazed about the 2nd generation Tibaldis (1990's - Anybody have a Transparente, Modello 60 in Red/Green & Brown/Blue, or Bononia they want to sell? wink.gif ) - and I have hopes that the new Tibaldi will make use of some of their inherited celluloid at some point... Here's pictures from Tibaldi's site of the least "BLING" of their new pens (The Divina - Black & Platinum):

Capped, it looks like Dark Helmet made himself a LE pen blink.gif cool.gif

These new ones will certainly not end up in my hands. Bad and ecclectic design. If I want a good metal pen, I'd buy a S.T. Dupont, where they stole the hobnail pattern from, and which are certainly more elegant.

BTW, I thought the Red&Green celluloid ones were Modello 50s unsure.gif

I share the same sentiments on the current batch of Tibaldis. sad.gif

I don't think the color choices were model-specific for the Modellos. I've seen both the Modello 60's & 50's in Ivory/Blue & Rosso/Verde.

There are a lot of people who were dismayed by the latest Tibaldi offerings, myself included. The only redeeming point (here comes the pun) is their nib design with the eagle's head and sun's rays. As you have pointed out, I am waiting for the celluloids.
