I really love my Namiki Falcon and VP both of which I purchased here in Honolulu. From surfing the web I've discovered that Japanese companies like Pilot/Namiki and Sailor produce many more pens than they export to the U.S. Does anyone know if it's possible to buy domestic market Japanese pens? I know this is possible with watches both Asian and Euro that have no U.S. distributors.
Here's a translation (hopefully) of pilot.co.jp 's fountain pen page:

One source is on ebay 'ujuku123' : for some pens, he's the only source widely available. With some pens in the auction, he offers free choice of nibs. But the prices are high and rising still (kind of monopoly). Specialties: Pilot Capless decimo, different Pilot Customs, and now some Sailors.
And there is allways pengallery ...

Yeah,
I think the most of the key names have been mentioned already (as far as I know):
PenGallery - good source of modern/current Sailors, as are a few other online stores:
http://www.pengallery.com/Ujuku - based in Japan, in addition to ebay, he also has a website:
http://ujuku.jpn.ph/KAIMONO/penframe.htmStan (Klemanowicz) - a top man. He mainly specializes in older Japanese pens. He's also a member here.

Many thanks for this link to ujuku, Grasshopper, I didn't know about this permanent shop. And the prices there are lower than on his ebay shop

hi,
i bought my pilot decimo from his brick and mortar store and indeed he is about $10.00 cheaper than the e bay prices. he answers his emails quickly and ships quickly by ems. highly recommended.
