I posted a sample of handwriting after two months practice and said that I'd try to post a pre-practice sample. I found some notes I made at a conference for the electronic medical record we use. (You will see why we needed one when you look at my handwriting). So, with embarassment, I post this sample. The 2 month practice is here ->

Wow!

I must say you've come a long way in such a short amount of time. I'm very impressed, keep it up!

Your two threads are very inspiring! I keep putting off the necessary practice, telling myself I'll do it when I've got more time. But, as with everything, I'll never _find_ more time, I'll just have to _make_ time. To see the amazing improvements you've made with daily practice in just two months is quite motivating - it may be the push I need to get going! Thanks!
Ryan.

Thanks for the two posts. Contratulations on the transition. Practice does in fact make a difference!
I made my transition from poor Peterson Penmanship handwriting to cursive italic nearly 25-years ago. Today, nearly every day, I sit down and write the alphabet and several lines of practice writing to maintain my pen hand. It is like the pianist who plays scales every day, just for fun and for practice. For me the practice is not a chore. It is fun and part of a wondeful hobby.
Good luck maintaining. And have fun!

What a change...
Someday I should put before and after scans...

I was much worse than you.
