Does anyone know what's happened to Jonathan Donahaye's wonderful site? I've not been able to access it for weeks now. Do we know if it's gone on a temporary or permanent basis? I do hope it comes back online because it's such a fantastic site.

Not sure - I'll e-mail him and see what he says!

I've just heard from Jonathan, he hopes to bring his site back online on a new server before too long, which will be great for all of us.

In case anybody doesn't already know, now that he is retired he is selling off some items from his collection on ebay under the seller name 'penintent'. I think above all people he deserves to get fair prices for his pens, so I hope members will bid on his auctions - and in return you know you will be buying carefully described, desirable (and sometimes rare) pens!

Whilst Jonathan's site is offline, why not use mine as a reference for vintage Conway Stewart models. It's not quite as up to date as his but most information can be obtained on a large number of vintage Conway Stewart models.

In case you have the patience I've been using www.archive.org to surf a "copy" of Jonathon's website. It is very slow, but better than nothing if you really need to get to his site. Here's a link to the list of numbers. Thanks.

Remember, it's really slow.

Good tip, thanks. Shame there's no pictures though. We'll just have to hope he can bring his site back soon.

David, your site has always been second on my list to visit after Johnathan's site smile.gif Nice to know that at least we still have a way to access the CS Book of Numbers, but as Andy said, it's a shame we don't get the photos as well. I hope the site makes a full return soon.
