The ones that have the names beside them are written in the color ink in the pen.
Pelikan Brilliant Red
Pelikan Royal Blue
Diamine Emerald Green
Pelikan Brilliant Black

(My penmanship will improve, I promise)

Canon EOS-10 D, Canon 35-80mm lens, Photoshop for color correction for Tungsten lighting and cropping and sizing for the site (I hope it is not too large or small.) What are the preferred image sizes?

This is my first attempt and didn't want to try too much at first.

The three pens at the bottom: Parker 75 (1980's), Lamy Safari with 1.5 mm Italic nib and the Parker Frontier are not inked at this time.

I await (hesitantly) your comments. I am quite open to advice and suggestions.

I am going to the Chicago pen show and plan on adding to the collection and I have a Pelikan 625 on order from Mr. Binder, but am awaiting the appropriate nib to come in for regrinding.

I'll take the Pelikan 140 for 600, Alex.

Oh, it's not Jeopardy!

Sorry, but you still have a nice group of pens. wink.gif

Jack, for 2 months into the game, you have a amazingly well-rounded collection. There's some classics and well regarded new pens. Maybe a vintage Sheaffer snorkel would be a good additiion. Or, if you want a new pen, you might like a VP (vainshing point).

Ya did good smile.gif --photo is a good size--no horizontal scrolling necessary!

Snorkel! wink.gif or TD. Must haves in your collection.

That's a great start tho. Also great Sheltie!

blink.gif I'm wondering why you think your writing needs improvement, myself! I wish I could write like that.

Thanks for the responses so far.

I have heard of a Snorkel and I have that on the list, but, pardon my ignorance, I haven't figured out TD, yet. I would like to try a vanishing point before I buy one,

Thanks for the complement on Nista, we think she is a beautiful Sheltie, just a bit fine boned for show, but we are really proud of her.

I have been working for two months on my penmanship and if I write slowly I can do OK, but when I look at the writing I see inconsistent slant, inconsistent letter size and shape. While I am pleased that people can now read my writing instead of guessing and it looks a lot better, I am still not where I want to be. But, I appreciate the complement - it really encourages me. (At speed, though the inconsistencies magnify greatly. I guess that the only way to improve is to keep practicing.

I am really enjoying reading and participating in the posts. I have learned a lot, and have much more to learn, but am not afraid to display my ignorance and ask questions.

You have beautiful handwriting... and that's a beautiful set of pens. :bunny1:

Love that Pel 140 and that Sheaffer Heritage Emperor's -------- (whatever it is!)

My black Phileas is a joy to use with supplied medium and fine nibs. It's got me going finer for writing. Don't think I'll go back to medium, let alone broad.

TD is Touchdown. Also a sheaffer model of the same vintage as Snorkels.

Nista is very nice Sheltie. There is a thread in chatter where you can post more pics if you like. Pet Parade, I think it's called.

We have a black standard poodle which I run in Agility.

A Pelikan 625 on order from Mr. Binder? You are a lucky guy! That is a beautiful pen.

You might want to consider a Parker "51" and/or a Parker Vacumatic along with the couple of Sheaffers recommended.
