There are Parker 45s which have a tassie which is a smooth plain concave surface and other Parker 45s which have a tassie pattern that looks like a circle within a circle.

I think the smooth tassie is an earlier type. Does anyone know when it dates from as i would like to date a Parker 45 stainless steel Flighter which does not have a date code but has the smooth tassie.

It is also marked on the cap with the number 45 (twice) and as Made in USA and with the parker circle emblem with the arrow through it and also has a black plastic barrel end.
