This Pelikan is a 350, which is the tiniest one that I've yet to work on. In this first pic it's next to an 800.
A client liked two different materials that I had and wanted them combined to make a banded binde.

And this next pen is a Namiki Vanishing Point in an orange swirl material.

I love my job. biggrin.gif

I was thinking I would love your job too laugh.gif. Not that I'd be good at it, but that's another matter isn't it...

I think that both pens are striking. The banded M350 looks especially good to me in the uncapped photo.

Thanks for sharing your creations. Can't wait to see what you do with my Pels!

and another (completed this afternoon) Vanishing Point.
The material for this one might look familiar to you Omas fans. It's the blue with black veined stuff that they used for their Paragons. Blue Royale?

have fun,
Chris (still loving my job) wink.gif

OK Chris, can the Namiki be done in wood... and if so what size wood blank do you need...
As you know I am a pen turner, and I have some really sweet blanks for the pens that I do... I might have access to some really really nice snakewood soon.
If I make some money at the DC Show this year, I think I am going to have to commission a custom VP from you...
Elaine
wub.gif Chris, will you marry me?

It'd be fun to do one in wood. I've been meaning to get some stabilized wood blanks to play with, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
