FS: Chatterley Pens

Up for sale are my commissioned pens from Bexley... Here are the threads that made this whole thing come to fruition.

My new pen from bexley...

What pen should I get my future Bro in law

So... Here it is! I couldn't be happier. Bexley truly is a fantastic pen company...

These are acrylic made pens with Bexley's ridiculously smooth nibs. The filling system is CC/Converter. The pictures really dont explain the detail and depth of the acrylics, but I tried to capture it...

They each come with numbered box and card. If you want a certain number, but not that nib, it can be switched out.

This is a limited Edition of 24 pens.

Here are the numbers and nib sizes to go with that are available.

2/24 through 11/24 Fine nibs

12/24 through 16/24 Medium nibs

17/24 through 20/24 Broad nibs (#19 is a fine nib, per request)

21/24 through 24/24 Stub nibs

Some people have emailed me and if you are still interested in your reserved number let me know...

The price per pen is $265 + shipping at cost.

The first 6 buyers also get a bottle of 50ml ink. All the inks are brand new, and I bought them just to give away, so first come first serve. PM me or you can email me at... Chatterley Pens

1 PR Blue Suede

1 PR Daphne Blue

1 PR Maples Blue

1 Pelikan Royal Blue

1 Pelikan Blue/Black

1 Montblanc Royal Blue

At the bottom I took two pictures of the nibs, one fine and one very pretty stub!

Enjoy and Cheers!

very nice looking pen. almost looks like an upscale version of the pearl Pelikan M200 in color, but more like a vintage Pelikan in design!

one question: is the stub the standard .9mm?

I have a predilection towards preponderously sized nibs and I refuse to prevaricate

Could you please say more about the lenght of the pen with cap-on-nib and the length of the nib from point to shoulders?

Go to Richard Binder's website and look under Bexley. Bryant's pen is a Bexley Poseidon and all the dimensions are on Richard Binder's website.

I thought this was the Poisedon?

Looking for an Omas Arco Verde...the one that got away.

Oops, sorry folks, it is a Poseidon; I've edited my post. Don't know what I was thinking; must be old age, as Bexley doesn't make the Prometheus any longer.

PM sent on #6.

Take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly, and try another. But by all means, try something.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
