Hi, all. I found this forum in the Antiques Roadshow Insider magazine - my father passed it onto me - so to whoever may read this that might be in charge of forum PR; it worked!
I've been into pens for about 10 years now, ever since my grandfather gave me a Shaeffer Vac-fil tha was my grandmother's back in the day. I had it repaired and enjoy using it, but wasn't thinking "collector".
My wife saw I enjoyed it but wouldn't take it out of the house, so she bought me a Parker Sonnet, which I actually carried for years, and that's how I got the bug.
As of now I have 12 pens and rotate using them. Nothing rare or impressive, but I do like my MontBlanc F. Scott Fitzgerald pen and I have a Waterford that has the most amazing red finish.
I live in Colorado, just west of Denver. I also have a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda I am restoring, so I guess I'm just a retro kind of guy.

I don't know too much about the hobby, so I'll just be reading here for awhile. Hope I can eventually contribute.

Welcome to the forum! I lived outside of Denver (Aurora) back in '62. My dad was in the Air Force and worked at the base there. We are glad to have you join us, just jump right in and tell us about your pens and ink and ask questions and above all enjoy!

Sounds like you've got a nice collection going. Look forward to seeing your posts on the boards!
I always sit at the back of the room. Why? Because that's where the bad kids sit - where no one can see what you're up to.
