Hello everyone!

I adore my Lamy All-Star and I love Miquelrius notebooks. However, these are damn hard to find. I order all my current ones off of http://www.shopmiquelrius.com/ but I've looked recently at the official Miquelrius site and I saw TONS of products that I haven't found anywhere else on the internet, like the 100-page pads (Products>General Catalogue>Notebook> 100-leaf Note Book Pad) and the different color options for the One-subject. I am absolutely dying to get my hands on these note books as I am starting college next year and the organizer in me is eager to get my hands on some of these products but I can't find any!

I live in Chicago and have checked around stationary stores, websites, and almost the whole city and nada. Is there any way I can get some of these? Maybe be requesting it somewhere or is it exclusively for sale in Spain?

Thank you!

Well, I'm a Spaniard and they manufacture for a broad range of well know brands (Agata Ruiz de la Prada, and so), so they may be a lot of Miquelrius in desguise. I've been to Chicago and Wisconsin recently and they were not easy to find, is true. Have you just tried the usual spots (Barns and Noble, etc.)?
The web page is www.miquelrius.com and has English version. Go to "contact" and drop them a line asking where you can get them close to your place.

Although not listed on the Website, Target, at least those near where I work and where I live, have an assortment of Miquelrius notebooks. The assortment varies between the two stores. One I go to is 9 miles from my home, and I go if I am out shopping; the other is less than a block from where I work, and it has the better assortment of notebooks.

If you are not far from a Target, it might be worth a stop to see. I doubt you could find out without going in person, because calling and asking an employee would likely only cause confusion. Not a slam against Target employees ( I used to be one, and found my coworkers to be well above average for low paid retail employees), just a reminder that it is not a stationery store, and in-depth product knowledge of the scope of products in a Super Target is not reasonable to expect. With the assortment near where I work, I, with my borderline OCC (obsessive compulsive condition - in my family we do not refer to the most orderly people on the planet as disordered rolleyes.gif ) could not begin to recite from memory what brands and sizes are available, and it might not be that easy to pull the information up on the computer terminal anywhere near a phone.

I also saw a pretty good assortment at the Barnes and Noble at the Mall. Haven't checked Borders, because it is a lot farther from home. However, it is very near a Whole Foods, and might provide an excuse to go to both. rolleyes.gif

Pendemonium has some Miguelrius products, but I don't know if they'll have what you're looking for.

Borders does sell Miquelrius, but marked with Borders' "Paperchase" brand name. Paperchase products come from various sources, but if you've seen Miquelrius notebooks, you'll recognise their pages inside the covers (sometimes the Miquelrius logo is on the paper). I just picked up a couple of their A7 (pocket-size) spiral-bound polypro notebooks -- very nice FP-friendly gridded paper.

I just looked at my favorite notebook and realized that this is the brand. It's got a hardish translucent orange cover and the interior is divided into different page border colors. While it's spiral-bound, it has that micro-perf edging so you can remove pages without tearing them from the binding, and the size is really convenient..

I would LOVE to be able to get more of these.

If you have a college/university nearby it is a good idea to check their bookstore, the University of Denver has an end display of Miquelrius in addition to stocking Kokuyo so I have a fair selection of fountain pen friendly notebooks to choose from.

I bought one of these yesterday because I wanted a notebook with microperf paper that had finer ruling than Clairefontaine. My complaint is, why do all the local stores only seem to carry the super-girly designs?!? I got the most conservative one I could find, which is bright green, covered in white hearts - gag. sick.gif They make perfectly conservative pinstripe ones - you would think there would be a market for such things in NYC.

You'd think so..... but NY is NY.

If I ever find a conservative one I'll trade for the green hearts. tongue.gif

Hello Larry,

Some of the notebooks on the Spain site are new and will be arriving here in the US in our warehouse in Spring. I would say to be patient and check our website http://www.shopmiquelrius.com/ some time in April or feel free to e-mail me if you would like me to keep you on my "waiting list" for products. Please keep in mind that we don't bring all items here to the USA. My direct e-mail is jgates@miquelriususa.com

If anyone is looking for something they can't find on shopmiquelrius.com, feel free to e-mail me. We don't have all of our products on the site. And yes, in case anyone was wondering, we are Miquelrius, the USA division.

Thank you!

For anyone in the UK that doesn't know, Miquelrius books can be found in Paperchase stores branded as Paperchase. I have got a few 300 page A5 grid and A6 with coloured page edges as well as some plain edged A6 notebooks.
No1 Wanted Pen: Danitrio Densho Urushi (not black) - on hold until the £ strengthens

Plea to UK sellers. With the £ now weak against the US$ you may have a larger market from UK buyers than you might imagine. Feel free to price your pens in US$, but why not also price them in £ for the benefit of us UK buyers?

Holy cow!

I ordered a couple of notebooks off the web site and I swear they arrived like, FIFTEEN MINUTES LATER.

Fastest mail-order delivery in the history of the universe. And they're just like the one I already had. They're the ones with the circled 4 on the cover and the multicolor-border papers inside. I got the A5 size. cloud9.gif
