Confused by multiple categories and topics? Overwhelmed with trying to follow a thread? The following is the procedure that I follow. It makes the FPN flow more like a Boardhost type board.

1. Open/sign in to FPN

2. Click on View New Posts. This can be found in the upper right corner. It brings you to a nice list of topics that are new or have been added to since your last visit.

3. See the little checkmarks right next to the topic titles? Click on that and it will bring you to the latest posts in that topic since your last visit. Neat huh? When you’re done with a particular thread, click the back button on your browser to get back to the list of topics.

4. When you’re finished reading all the topics click Mark all forums as read and return to index. This can be found at the top of the box of topic titles. Wait! Not yet! If there were a lot of posts or if you took a while to read them then first click the View New Posts again or the refresh button on your browser. The little checkmark will appear again if anyone added something while you were reading.
