Dear Twsbi Fans,

Twsbi Fans, Is there a better name we can call this?? Well, let's come back to the subject first.

Thanks for all the good comments from the first 300 Pre-Sale owners, I enjoy more fun reading your comments than from the processing of the project, thanks.

First batch of the production I am preparing about 2,000 pen for the US ebay store : http://stores.ebay.com/twsbipenstore.

To catch the date I promissed, I will hand carry about 160 pen to US to start them on the store. I will arrive LA on 15th. of July, set them up (will take me one or two days to do so, since I am new on setting it up). I hope to get this done before weekend.

There will be about 440 pens to follow in by airshipment, then the rest of the pens by sea shipment.

So, the important point is this. If you are in USA please wait a few day then order from the ebay store (you will receive the pen faster then if you order from Taiwan). If you are in other countries then pls still order from our Taipei office info@twsbi.com

In USA if you have any question please write to me speedy@twsbi.com

Thanks and Cheers

Are all the plating options and nib options going to be available..

The chrome with medium you sent me is fantastic.... so great that my daughter has taken control of the pen and I no longer am allowed to use it... :roflmho:

I would love to get a black titanium with a fine nib for myself.

Those who know me, know I am a died in the wool Vacumatic and Parker 51 junkie, so buying a modern pen has to say something about these pens....

The other color options are not ready yet. I want to get the first one correct before going on next. After the first batch run, gradually other option will come out:D

Thanks for updating us. Your pen isn't perfect (doesn't look good posted), but darn it is so good for the money it makes many competitor pens look sick.

The forum software has an annoying habit of changing all thread titles so that the first letter (and only the first letter) of each word is capitalized. :glare:

Just purchased mine this evening. I'm very excited to receive it as I have never owned a demonstrator before.... and I love the piston fillers.

What type of return policy is there if the pen does happen to arrive with one of the select faulty o-rings that have been reported? Or has that issue been fixed?

Scattered across the myriad of posts regarding this the 530, the issue has been fixed. If you have a leaky seal they are in the process of sending out new seals in a few weeks.

On the up side, it is just a $40.00 pen, so if you do not feel like waiting for a fix, leave it on your desk at work as a 'go ahead try it out' pen.

I actually find that the $50-ish pens are my absolute favorite. I don't really enjoy the $100+ pens very much for some reason.... I like a little more rough writing nib for some odd reason.

Anyways, I'm very excited to receive it, and will probably make it my daily writer. If I happen to get a small leak I'll just shoot him an email and get a replacement o-ring.

I appreciate your response though! Thank you!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
