Hi, I am new to Fountain Pen scene and are not very knowledgeable at all. So please forgive me if this is common knowledge.

I was looking for a good blue ink to use in my fountain pen and ran across samples of Visconti Blue online. I tried to look for the ink on various websites, but none seems to carry it anymore. I found Blue-Black, Turquoise-Blue, Royal Blue, but no Blue.

Is the Ink not available in the U.S. or is it labeled under a different color now?

Must be sold out, because I don't see it along with the other Visconti colors.

Pen City also sells it for a very nice price (especially the 50 ml refill bottles).

Hi -- I heard somewhere that it found to contain carcinogens, so was taken off the market. When it'll be reformulated and redistributed is unknown to me. (I still have 1 full bottle, and it's NOT going to the HazMat disposal site.) --- BR S1
