Unfortunately, they didn't survive the trip. The postman handed over a package that was actually dripping a dark colored ink.
Here's the resultant carnage:

I've already sent an email off to them, but I think from here on out I'll be ordering glass bottles of Noodlers or Herbin from Jetpens.

Hmm, will probably still order from them once the postal strike is over, but this certainly looks bad.

I'm guessing since the outside of the package was still a little wet that it might have happened on the US side of things, but it's possible given the plastic lining and the amount of ink that it could have happened sooner than that.
Still waiting to hear back from Diamine. I'm not upset at all, I totally understand these things happen, just thought they would be interesting photos for those of us ink fans around here.

It definitely looks like the bottle was crushed, but none of the bubble wrap was compressed badly, so it may have just been a faulty bottle. The rest seemed to take the abuse fine and the box of cartridges, besides being sopping wet with ink, seemed to be in fine shape as well.

Well, it has it's pros and cons. The shipping rates of Diamine are really low, and, because of the plastic bottles lying flat, these packages slip easilly into a mailbox. They put glass bottles into regular boxes, so that's another story. These plastic bottles OTOH have some fexibility and can take light beating. A broken plastic box indicates maltreatment, IMHO.
BTW the plastic bottles are good for reuse and travelling, too.

Yes, I like the plastic bottles. They're (normally) very forgiving.
