This is a nice group of Parker 51's I have to sell, all are in working order.

 

 

 

1. Parker 51 Aerometric Canadian production in jet black with medium to broad nib. $90 US Sold pend payment.

 

2. Parker 51 Aerometric in cocca with demonstrator hood. This is an original hood, I bought this pen at an auction just as it is. The cap does have a few spots but no visible dings. The nib is slightly oblique and may need a bit of tuning to fit your writing style. There end of the hood does have a small chip, and the aerometric filler itself has some chunks or plating missing. It was certainly well used but is a great piece. $150 US

 

3. Parker 51 Aerometric Canadian production in jet black with an extra fine nib. Too fine for me but someone will enjoy it. $75 US

 

4. Withdrawn is it's not filling quite right. Contact me if interested.

 

5. Parker 51 Aerometric Special in navy grey. It has a fine nib and would make a great user. $65 US

 

The first PM that confirms intent to buy gets the pen. Shipping is $10 worldwide with tracking info if shipped in North America. Paypal payment is prefered but I will except international money orders. If Vacumatic fillers are more your thing please get in touch with me as I have a few I do play to sell.

I have reduced two of the three remaining 51's so I've decided to reduce the demo hood pen as well.

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
