Chatterley Pens Presents... The Dionysus

Up for sale is my second official commissioned pen. Crafted by Bexley Pens with Red and Green Tibaldi Celluloid the Dionysus is based off the Poseidon Magnum. This Pen uses the Pilot Push button filler. This filling system is attached to the section so no CCs or Cartridges will work.

Pronounced Dionysus or Dionysus was in classic mythology the God of wine or the inspirer of ritual madness and ecstasy.

These pens are 5.5 " long, and have barrels with a 0.5 ", Little over 5 " from uncapped and a little over 7 " long posted. This is a larger pen, but not oversized. Its great posted or not posted. It weighs 1 ounce capped and the body of the pen weighs .6 of an ounce.

I have only received my first shipment in on these and only have numbers 2, 3 and 7-13. I will be getting the rest the of the numbers 4-6 and 14-23 the first week of May as well as stub nibs. I have fine, Medium and Broad 18K nibs now.

These pens are available in gold and silver trim. Each pen has the following written on it in VivaldiD font very discreetly.
Chatterley Pens
Dionysus XX/23

MSRP on the Poseidon Magnum is $425, but most retailers are selling them for between $325-$360. Because of Celluloid and the Pilot push filler the my price is going to be $375 on these.

Please email me here to order or for questions

You requested- Celluloid, a different filling system, two different trim colors and the writing on the pen in a different font, and barely noticeable. I listened smile.gif so with out further ado...

The Dionysus!

In gold trim...

And in silver trim...

And here are some comparison pictures next to a Montblanc 149 and Regular sized Poseidon

Cheers!
Bryant

This is a wonderful idea. A great looking pen, with fantastic celluloid and a first class filling mechanism.

What an absolutely awesome pen! And what a terrible sight to dangle in front of a Bexley addict. It is hard enough to go to my weekly counseling...you have no idea how humiliating it is to hand a note to the receptionist, in front of all those bipeds in the waiting room, explaing I am there for treatment of a fountain pen addiction. The only reasom I am able to hold back on this pen is that it doesn't come with a black anodized trim. Butttttt, it sue is tempting. Fantastic in the gold and silver trim.

ps, excuse my typing, but I'm all not thumbs. drool.gif

Ah, but what if I told you I could get anodized trim... JK... I cant sad.gif This trim had to be made specific because the blind cap ring is a little different size because of Pilot filler.
But, thank you!

Once the word gets out on these, a lot of people will be sorry they didn't get one of only 23 made when the opportunity was there. The beauty of these pens is just indescribeable. You cannot really tell it's captive converter the way the system was made with the blindcap. Pricing being what they are for celluloid self-fillers (I would compare this to the old style, captive converter Etruria, which is a great system also not to be dismissed as c/c), especially for REAL celluloid (the camphor smell punches you in the face as soon as you open the box), this is easily a $500 pen Bryant is selling for a 2nd-hand price. Two thumbs-up!
