I want to thank Karen from Exaclair for providing me with the samples for review. I'm not using the greatest scanner, but this looks pretty close to the correct color. Review was done on Rhodia No 16. My first review, so be gentle. smile.gif

Thanks for the review. I'm interested in J. Herbin inks and found it quite useful.

Great review! Wouldn't have known that it was your first if you didn't tell us wink.gif

You have very neat and legible handwriting.

Thank you!

Thank you for the review, very nice colors. I'm curious if anyone has Verte Olive next to R&K Alt Goldgrün, they seem similar. Verte Empire is a lovely dark green, even suitable for business, I would say.
Very nice italic hand. Thank you for the review.

John, thank you for the review! I usually stick to blue and burgundy--whether J. Herbin, Swisher inks or Noodlers--but the fact that so many people enjoyed the greens has me thinking of trying one of them this year. Thanks again! Best, Karen

Thank you for adding to out knowledge of some of the "less green" greens.

I also would not have realized this was your first review if you hadn't mentioned it.

What a luxury your italic hand is! I very much enjoyed this review and the clarity of your handwriting contributed greatly to letting us see exactly how these two greens perform. Bravo on your first review and I hope you contribute many more.

@ jmignault - I have and love Vert Empire, but I've never considered the Vert Olive before. Previous experience has taught me that I don't really like whole pages of a colour as light as Vert Olive, yet seeing the sample in your excellent hand has me tempted to add the ink to my next purchase. A review nicely done. Thanks!

@ Ondina - I, too, would like to see a comparison of Alt Goldgrün and Vert Olive. One or both may cause me to stray from my habitual use of somber, muted inks!

Ryan.
