We were allowed to pick any shade of green or Orange Indien from the La Perle des Encres line. I picked a color that nobody else picked. It's not a color I would normally pick but this was for
When I got home from work the day before St. Patrick's I had a package waiting in the mailbox. Inside the package was one bottle of J.Herbin Vert Pre and on small Rhodia notepad. (Thanks Karen!)
The Vert Pre is a nice color on paper and looks like grass stains on my fingers. It's a bit on the thin side so it starts fast and flows smoothly without ant clogging.
This ink is wasted in a fine and/or dry nib but if you throw into something fat and wet it comes to life.

I did not adjust the color of these scans but they are very close to true. Here are some common green items I scanned for comparison.

I had a lot of fun with this ink and with putting this review (my first) together. Thanks again to Karen and Quo Vadis blog.
I hope this review is helpful to you.
