This reminds me of a variation on J. Herbin's PdL...only with more purple. I wish it was a wetter ink, though, since dry ones drive me crazy. XP

OO, that is a nice purple.

 

Yes and a sexy one that is quite different.

 

This reminds me of a variation on J. Herbin's PdL...only with more purple. I wish it was a wetter ink, though, since dry ones drive me crazy. XP

 

Jadie, it is only ever-so-slightly dry and it may well be the pen I was using. I haven't had the pleasure of JHPdL.

You are welcome. There is no leader of Prashanti Nilayam except Swami. I believe the Chair of the Prashanti Council is still Dr Sandweiss.

Do you know the name of the Swami. Is this Swami by chance the leader of the Narayana Ashram or is the reincarnation of Swami Vivekanda this Swami.

It was (and will remain to be) Bhagawan Shri Sathya Sai Baba. You can look online for further information. I'm afraid I don't know about the Narayana Ashram.

Hello, I have no experience of AVV so I'm afraid I cannot offer comment, what is your experience of that ink?

This one reminds me of Akkerman Vorhout Violet.

 

To my eye this ink is "blacker" than AVV....but then monitors are all different.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
