I got a Charleston FP and BP as gifts for graduation (actually the FP first and about half a year later the BP eventually joined in as I saw it at a super low price). My cousin is graduating and picked out the Charleston set as well. My grandmother always wanted to get something engraved on my pens but we never got around to it. So now we decided to get these engravings done for me and the cousin. I decided to first test out the engraving process on my Charleston BP...and it didn't go so well. Laser was set a little too high and melted the fake cap a lot more than necessary. (I knew there was a certain risk involved).
So now I'm wondering if I should replace that fake cap part of the pen. Any ideas where I could get something like this? (Maybe someone has a broken Charleston lying around that still has that cap part intact? )
