Meisterstuck Rb 163

I was at a yard sale today and I came across a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck roller ball pen. I used to own a meisterstuck fountain pen that I bought from a dealer and I knew it was authentic. But this particular pen I am not sure if it is authentic and I was hoping for some insight.
First I can try to upload whatever pictures I may need to but here is what I have about the pen.
I paid six bucks for it, so even if it is a fake no big loss, but I just don't want to be using a fake pen.
The pen is black and gold. The star on the top appears even and centered. The clip does not have a serial number. but it does show w-germany. I read that pre 1991 pens did not have serial numbers. Also under the clip there is no description "PIX" either. The roller refill screws in, but its dry, and its a black medium point and appears to be genuine ink. and it has the number 908 at the end of it.
The case doesn't have any lining in it but it appears to be an original box with a couple information tid bits in it. and on the end of the box is a sticker in the corner that reads:
I apologize if my post is longer than needed. Again I will be happy to post pictures if I need to. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Sorry, I got a bit carried away. The bottom line is that it is impossible to tell, but sounds alright.

So let's assume it is old-ish. If it was fake, probably the plating would be of bad quality and would be in quite poor state by now. But let's continue our reasoning shall we...
Posting a pic of the "W. Germany", a picture of the clip in detail, and a pic or two of the box would be helpful.
Fakes usually have slightly slanted engravings, or laser engravings. The clips are not well finished, and the bottom bit that tucks into your shirt pocket is usually different from the real thing. Finally, it is not trivial to fake a box.
If you want to be completely sure, go to a MB boutique when you have the time, they can check it for you.
Ohh, and by the way, where are my manners

p.s. I couldn't upload all the images because file size too big. But I'll do them individually.

If I had to place my bets, I would say real. (or at least the best fake I've ever seen, and I've seen a few).
The font is right, the instruction manual looks genuine to me, the clip looks real, and the box has too much detail for a fake.
Great deal! Congratulations.

I enjoy the "find the fake" game quite a lot. It requires attention to detail and logical thinking...
Satisfies my OCD... which is always a good thing
