I'm TOTALLY PO'd at this one 51 I'm playing with. Too PO'd to get near it.
I've got a few Esties I could restore, but nothing that really blows my skirt up. I need something to get a little enthused about.
Hmmm. What to do.
I got it.
You know I don't sell many pens. I do a full restore on and then sell even fewer. How about if I look for a slightly out of the ordinary Estie that would respond well to being restored. I'm not talking a Visumaster or anything crazy like that, just an exceptionally nice Estie. Oh and by the way, with the main purpose being to see that someone on FPN ends up with it.
KerDing! He shoots! He scores!
(Now, I was actually inspired to look for this one pen. I have two of it's two siblings. One of those two is a Toulouse restore/sell, the other one I found and did. One of them is on my nearest by pen stand and has been winking at me. Every time I look at it I just go WOW. I don't dare pick it up or I'll just blow the next 5 minutes turning it around and around and staring at it. )<One of my two was my avatar pic before the current one.>
I waited til it got here to say anything, it's a double jewel Blue Streaker J with right now a clean looking Broad 2968. I've seen heavier streaking but this has some very nice light/dark bands. It's also already in very good shape with a nice clear imprint and shiny jewels.
This has the potential to end up A. Very. Nice. Estie.
And someone on FPN is probably gonna take it home.
PS; I'm so glad to see someone got that wonderful Blue Streaker Transitional 3 ribbed jewel that Rick Krantz had for sale. I hope it was an Estieville resident. You should consider a nice polish job on it, that patterning looks especially nice polished up. A Blue Streaker 3 rib Transitional J!, that's right at the top of my favorite Estie list.
PSS; If the new owner sees this, that pen deserves some more, clear pics!
