Brand New Montblanc Bright Blue Le Ink Out

Chrissy

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

I just thought I would let you know that my Montblanc boutique has just rung to advise me that Montblanc have just launched a brand new Limited Edition bright blue ink. I'm advised it's a really bright blue.

It comes in a 30ml bottle.

My bottle is on it's way. :bunny01:

(no affiliation to Montblanc :))

Interesting. No reference to a new ink on their refill site. Can't wait to read about it and see the color (<------- gently implying that we will definitely need a review!)

Hi Mike

It's called Meisterstuck Diamond blue ink. It has been launched as a LE to go with the pen of that name.

+1 on the review.

Be interesting to see how it compares to, well, you know, *that* ink.... (Should it be called "the ink which shall not be named?") :roflmho:

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

As I have *that* ink that shall not be named, if I do a review I will be able to do a comparison between the two.

I contacted the local boutique. They did not know anything about it.

I sure noticed this quiet little topic pop up. Chrissy, since you are in England, can you say which boutique? It is likely delayed coming to USA.

With the new FPN rules, now I REALLY don't know what to put in my signature.

Ya'll are killin' me.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Checked my local branch in Toronto. They had no idea what I was talking about. :)

Did you tell them you are a moderator at FPN? That should have had them jumping up and down spitting nickels to get you an answer! :ninja:

The boutique that made contact with me is Canary Wharf, London. Mail order within the UK welcome (no affiliation LOL)

I will add a picture of the bottle when I receive it tomorrow as it didn't arrive on Saturday as anticipated.

Great news! If you have a chance to ring them again, maybe ask them if they know any details about additional availability. Thanks!

My Montblanc Meisterstuck Diamond Blue ink bottle arrived in the post today.

I haven't had time to write a review with it yet but I took a photo of it to show you.

It looks darker in the bottle than I think it will write

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
