I like your reviews but the scanned images are quite large and seem to be a bit over the 1000 pixel size that the 'upload' notes advise. I would suggest that people don't 'reply' using your post as a 'quote' otherwise the pages will take a while to load.

That said, this green reminds me a lot of Diamine Sherwood Green which I'll use instead as it's a whole lot easier to get here in the UK at the moment.

Great review - keep them coming.

Great job. Noodler's Green Marine is one of my favorite greens, and one I seem to have inked in one of my pens almost at all times. The slight bit of Noodler's Black in it is a really nice touch, as it can still be legible if it gets wet.

One of my all time favorite inks. Probably one of the first 3 inks that i bought. I think it is the only ink that has ever been in my Lamy Vista, M, and I absolutely love the color, shading, everything. It's a great color for work too; a bit individualized but not too far from blue or black.

Very nice review, thanks,

Thank you for the review. I think this will be my next purchase.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

thanks. As for the image size, fpn.com doesn't allow me to upload from this site, so I have to use another hosting site.

It's the green I wanted to have and I got it right the first time without buying and trying a bunch of other greens. Lucky me.

Actually, I meant the 'Upload' button at the top of this page where images can be uploaded from your computer or a URL. It doesn't matter as your review can be seen which is the main thing, isn't it?!

I haven't noticed the upload button before, I'll use that next time, thanks.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
