After using black and blue for years, I am now getting my feet wet (or should I say getting my nib wet) with green and red.
Looking at what you folks have tried and examining the color swaps, I have ordered Noodler's Gruene Cactus Eel Green and Cayenne Red. Can't wait to try them out.
Reflecting on my recent adventures (Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Black, Noodler's Bullet-proof Black, Bay State Blue), I am happy with all of them except for BSB. I simply love the color of BSB but I am consistently having flow issues (as in too much flow and feathering) across all of my pens. I am waiting for my Pelikan m600 to return with the EF nib to see if that helps. So far, BSB is not usable with my Pelikan m200, Lamy Safari and the latest TWSBI 540 stub 1.1. Any suggestions to tame the flow would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading.
