My new Parkers arrived today. Well, new to me anyways. A few pics:
The 21 is the first generation Super, with the straight sides clip, and Parker arrow engraved on the face. Oddly, it feels lighter than my MK II. No cracks, so that's a plus. And of course, the nib. Featuring not one, but eight fabulous alloys, brought together by Parker to form the Ocatanium nib!
The 45 is the first generation 45, with the concave on the cap, and bottom of the barrel. Solid gold fine nib, marked 585 Parker Made In USA. No shrinkage on the plastic.
Both pens are in relatively great condition considering their age. By the way--how much ink can there be in one cap? I spent more time cleaning ink out of the 45 cap, than I did cleaning the rest of the pen.
All in all, not bad pens for $20.
