ooooo, I'm too late to the fair :bawl: . Put me down for 2 on your wait list, please - EF and M.

Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies,

Tongue-tied and twisted, just an earth-bound misfit, I.

Shall a spot be available, and shall you send to Mexico, put me down with an XF

The voice of this guitar of mine, at the awakening of the morning, wants to sing its joy;

I sing to your volcanoes, to your meadows and flowers, that are like mementos of the greatest of my loves;

If I am to die away from you, may they say I am sleeping, and bring me back home.

Assuming the first 300 are all sold, I'd like to get in the queue for an EF from the next production run.

Assuming the first 300 are all sold, I'd like to get in the queue for an EF from the next production run.

The guy behind these pens said that the full production run will be ready by the end of June and will be available on eBay shipping from Taiwan so I would just wait until then.

Sorry to revive this thread but is there any word about when sales/distribution will commence?

Pens come off the production line on June 15.

Ok, I added everyone else who posted to a waiting list. Please PM me if you want confirmation. It's looking like most/all the waiting list will get hooked up.

Please no more pre-orders or waitlist requests in this thread. PMing is completely fine though! Also, feel free to hit us up on Twitter with a @twsbi post

Pens are due to be done June 15th, and i'll try to make sure they are in your hands asap!

Question: When the ink bottles are ready to sell, any chance you could notify those of us who already bought pens in the first 300, so we don't miss the ink bottle unveiling due to being unaware a new posting has happened? :notworthy1:

I have thought about doing this, but I declined because I hate unsolicited email. Following twsbi on twitter @twsbi is the best way to keep up with the latest as of right now.

In the future, there will be at least an eBay store, if not a proper webstore that you can check.

Thank you all for making this a success so far though!

Speedy:

We are all just doing "watchful waiting" at this point; also know how excited you must be for your Company and all the folks who have participated in giving birth to this new pen. We're already starting to get enchanted with your work on the ink bottles. Good luck!

Hello Speedy. I am eagerly anticipating my pen. After the long but fruitful development process, a few more days will not be a problem. Best of luck.

I just got an invoice from Paypal and wanted to make sure it was legit. Are the invoices officially out?

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
