Please, if you polled that you DO remove the nib to do a full complete flush, please make a thread response with HOW you then flush out the section/sac. THANKS!
I post this because of a recent ink change from Ottoman Rose (Maroonish) to Quink Red. I did the flush with the nib still in. Running the nib under the facet MANY (MANY!) times AND doing MANY (MANY!) lever flushes, I still managed a hint of maroony with each lever flush.
After I filled with the Quink Red, the first night, all seemed fine. A couple days later, I had a brownish, maroony, kinda red ink.
Then I pulled the nib and did a full thorough flush using a flexible ended syringe to powerflush the section/sac out with.
Now, my Quink Red is JUST Quink Red.
