I just got these images and wanted to share them!

This has been a project I have been working on for about 5 months and dreaming of for years. I am very happy with how they turned out and am excited to have them in my hands!

I have done 4 versions of the pen. I have in 25 pieces in Sterling Silver and Black Resin, Sterling Silver and Clear Resin, Vermeil Rose Gold and White Resin. I have also done 4 pieces Sterling Silver and White Resin.

The nibs are 23ct Palladium nibs and for the Rose Gold Ripple, the nib is plated specially plated in Rose Gold for this LE.

Im really happy with how turned out, especially the both the white ones!

I will have the first ones in my hands this Wednesday.

Enjoy the pics!

Congrats Bry. Stunning pens! They turned out better than I imagined they would.

Is the silver plated in Rhodium or something? The look so shiny!

hello. so how does this new nib write?

If you read Bryant's post you see that he doesn't have these pens in his hands yet!

These are gorgeous pens, and the sterling silver with clear resin seems like a nod toward your latest acquisition. BTW can you let us know how translucent the white resin is?

Bry, those are beautiful. Wow, I'm impressed! Will one be able to get a stub nib?

The silver is Palladium plated.

I will let you know... For sure the clear is just my style! Well... They all are...

Hoping Visconti sent some big honker nibs along!

Because they are releasing the nibs about 2 months before actual release date, only fine medium and broad nibs are done yet. But... In January when all nibs are out, we can swap out your nib if you want.

Ohh, where's the lottery win when you need it?! :D

Stunningly beautiful and made all the better by the palladium nib! Totally worth the long delays and wait, ne?

They are nice aesthetically but I highly doubt that they equal Omas or Stipula or Nettuno or Montegrappa nibs in terms of flex and smoothness. I will have to try one next time I go to my favorite penshop.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

I haven't tried the palladium nibs yet, but I can say after having perhaps 25 pens with the 18k gold nib that Visconti's premium nibs are the equal of Omas in smoothness, and more so than Stipula. I've owned 2 Omas Milords and about 7 Etrurias, so I can speak to their comparison with other nibs, and I prefer the Visconti.

Also, I don't understand how you can have such a "doubt" when you haven't even tried one ...

I haven't been able to stop using my palladium nib since receiving one on Thursday and I can assure you that it is utterly and almost devastatingly smooth. I thought it would be impossible for anything to be smoother than a Sailor and this has surpassed it by miles. Plus, the amount of flex is surprising for a modern pen. It doesn't have quite the same hyper-flex of a Falcon, but it has an amazing tension memory so you don't have to worry about it damaging; it's still soft without being weak. It's stiff enough to manage intricate kanji, but flexy enough to have some incredible variation and shading effects. You don't need to apply any pressure at all, it just flows. :puddle:

I'd suggest just keeping an open mind and hopefully you can enjoy one soon! They really are stunning. Dante and Bock have really outdone themselves this time.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
