Visconti Fuchsia (or Fuschia)

This is a bright, vivid pinky-purple color. It does jump off the page and is almost as electric dry as it is when wet. Yes, it does remind me of the flower. At least on my monitor the Q-Tip sample appears to be the closest to the actual ink.
I wasn't able to correct this one to more accurately show the other reference colors... this scan just didn't want to cooperate much in that respect.
Initially I thought Fuschia was similar to Noodler's Cactus Fruit, but, cactus fruit is notably deeper, and little more "plum" in tone. The nib used for the Cactus Fruit sample was a little wet, in actual writing, Cactus Fruit is a darker/deeper pink-purple than Fuschia.
The water test on this one was particularly impressive... the ink appears to have no water-resistance capability whatsoever.

Very interesting note about the spelling of the word as well. "Fuchs" actually means fox in German (pronounced "fooks") and for the longest time, I was pretty certain that Fuchsia is pronounced "fook-seeyah". Little did I know it's actually more like "few-sha"...
Ahh, FPN, teaching me something new every day
