A veteran is someone who wrote a blank check Made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'
That is Honor, and there are way too many people in This country who no longer understand it.

Hands down, no question.
Haven't bought one from him yet (I'm working on it!), but we've emailed back and forth.
He's the nicest guy to pester with your pen questions and he'll make you a great deal.

All raw ebonite pens will have 18kt nibs that are the same as the more expensive urushi and maki-e pens. The Hanryo is smaller, so has a smaller 18kt nib.
This post peaked my interest in them. Are the cheaper models with the 18k nib the same nib that is used on the more expensive models. Though it looks like it is only available in medium. I'm just thinking about a potential next pen.
