Oh yes I have seen those but not with the photo of the Kaweco pen. I think I could still find them.

Thank you for the help.

Best regards,

Gwen

With a little dab of silicon grease the plastic Kaweco Sport also makes a wonderful eyedropper pen, by the way. The capacity is really huge for the size of the pen.

Two possibilities here: Slider and Bantam types

http://www.tryphon.it/catalogo.htm

The Bantam from Tryphon does not fit, I got a few from them to put in my Sport pens last month, but it turned out the Bantams were too big around.

The Montverde slide converters will fit (I had one of those too), but I could never fill it without getting ink all over my fingers...

Hi,

I found that the Monteverde leaks and lets in air while filling, but there are other converters. Try the small converter that come with some Think pens. I also suppose that Taccia had the same converter for the small Portuguese pens. These use a small rubber gasket and don't leak.

Stolen: Aurora Optima Demonstrator Red ends Medium nib. Serial number 1216 and Aurora 98 Cartridge/Converter Black bark finish (Archivi Storici) with gold cap. Reward if found. Please contact me if you have seen these pens.

Please send vial orders and other messages to fpninkvials funny-round-mark-thing gmail strange-mark-thing com. My shop is open once again if you need help with your pen.

Will someone with the name of "Jay" who emailed me through the email system provide me an email address? There was no email address provided, so I can't write back.

Amazon sells the Monteverde mentioned above, but as you prolly know, if you return it due to 'your' incorrect selection then it'll cost yah their free shipping. A reviewer says on the Amazon listing it didn't fit their Kaweco.

Anyone really have a definite answer?

Thanks, new poster here, just for this topic ;)

I think Kaweco user small international cartridges, right? If so, the Pelikan (C499) converter I use on my Inoxcrom (that also uses those cartridges) should work for you :)

ETA: I should note, that I don't own a Kaweco -yet-, so this is just a guess.

Full length converters such as the Pelikan C499 and Schmidt K5 will not work with the Kaweco Sport.

I was thinking about doing this myself when mine gets here (ship faster already...), but I'm not sure I want to carry it in my pocket like that...

I'm planning on making my own squeezy converter at some point; just a chopped down cartridge, ink sac and a little shellac (still haven't got round to buying the shellac  ).

I'd love to see Kaweco bring out a reasonably priced piston filling Sport... :puddle:

I bought Monteverde converters for each of my two Kaweco sports, but I don't really use them. You only get 1/3 to 1/2 fill, at best. I've resigned myself to using pre-filled and/or refilling the short international cartridges. If you invest in a syringe, you'll find that the short cartridges are easy to clean and refill.

Thanks for the updated posts, guys. I'm on Amazon now to buy a multi-port USB hub that I rilly, rilly need (LOL) and I don't think I have a hobby syringe at home, so I will pick up some silicone grease and a hobby syringe while there ... I suppose this particular thread will really light up if Kaweco would finally announce a proper converter!

Cheers - L

I ordered two monteverde converters for my Kaweco Sport earlier this year.

One wouldn't seal to the pen and leaked like crazy, the second one fit like a dream and still works fine even after a few removals for cleaning. Just luck of the draw I guess.

I like the eyedropper idea as the monteverde hold too little ink for any heavy use.

Perhaps with the same buttonsystem as in the Pilot CON70??

I would like that (I would buy a bunch of them, to use in several of my other pens.....)

I just got a monteverde mini converter and it doesn't fit my kaweco sport. :(

It looks just like the cartridges (where it inserts) so I don't know why it wont work for me. Has anyone else gotten one to work?

I guess I'll be syringing....

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
