Good people of FPN,

 

We are working with Ketan to get the pens back into the hands of the owners. He has sent us a picture of the box and pens and we have identified several that belong to one of the admins. He will be sending them out on Monday. We suggested that he document the transaction. For security purposes we requested that he not post the picture of the pens. It would be too easy for someone to claim that a pen belongs to them when it doesn't.

 

If you haven't already, please email him to identify any pens of yours that he may have. You may also send us a list of your pens as we'll be coordinating with him.

 

We have been working very hard on this. We have received many emails and PM's with regard to this situation. We'd like to thank all of you for your cooperation. Be assured that each and every email and PM will be answered individually. Please be patient if it takes a day or two. (Or more?).

      I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

      Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

      I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature.
