slim pens

I was just wondering can anyone suggest some thinner pens. I am tired of the thicker brands.

I have a Pilot Cavelier in F point made in Japan that I want to sell because I don't use it. It's thin almost like a pencil thin but of course heavier than a pencil. Contact me if interested.

Parker Duofold Internationals are pretty slim. It's about the same as a Pelikan M400.

 

If you wanna go real slim, I have an 1970s or 80s Dunhill that's about the same as a Bic.

 

Good luck in your search, it's very refreshing to use a slimmer pen for a different perspective.

How about a shaeffer Targa?? Should be able to find them rather inexpensive.

Just to add: the S.T. Dupont 'Classique' line is slim and long.

 

If you want a cheapo, too: Lamy has several slim pens with steel nibs. And the 'cp1' can be posted, because the cap is as wide as the barrel. It makes a slim, straight, long, black stick.

Watermans from the 1980s-90s are pretty slim. For ex)

Waterman Exclusive. Two of these would make good chopsticks.

Waterman 200 is wider, but still slender by today's standards.

Waterman 12 Eyedroppers from 1900 - 1930s are all only slightly wider than a Bic disposable ballpoint. In fact, you can use bic caps on them in a pinch.

Well, now you went and did it. I haven't liked the look of any of the Rotrings I've seen. Until now.

Sheaffer's slim Targa pens are very well made. I have a couple of them and am completely satisfied. Difficult to find cartridges any more however the converters hold quite a bit of ink -- surprisingly much ink for a pen which is that thin. These are well thought-out pens and the workmanship is hard to beat, especially for the price.

How about a Parker 180? Very slim pen and a double side nib to boot.

 

The are about and do come up on eBay not infrequently. Can be a bit pricey though, but all in all a different pen choice.
