I got this new pen at the Cambridge pen meeting.

One of the guys was offering it for 10$ a piece and I thought to myself why not and I must admit for the price this is a wonderful pen.

Thank god to Chenese mass production we can get good product for cheap prices and this pen is exactly it.If you would to engrave some known company name on this pen I am sure most people wouldnt know the difference because this pen feels very good and very solid and worth nuch more then the price I paid for it.

Its a metal pen with a hooded F steel nib. With the yellow and steel body this pen looks very modern and attractive.

To get the cap of I had to put it and it feels very secure on the section. It closes with a loud snap and there is no loose feeling again well done for the price.

The section is metal and is comfortable in the hand.Even though this is a metal pen this pen doesnt feel overly heavy.

This is a C/C filler and this pen comest with a nice piston fill converter.

I filled the converter with Waterman havana and off to work.

To my surprise and joy this is a true F nib with a nice flow to it.No skippping or hesitation, it simply works fine. Its a smooth nib (even though not as smooth as high quality pens) and I would have no problem using this pen every day with great joy.

So this pen is an answer to people like me that like to use as writers higher end pens that you dont have to spend a lot to get a good wrters. This pen isnt a collection item but as what it was design to do (write) it does with no real complaints.

I have been curious about this brand. It's nice to know that they can be a good cheap pen.

I can't write with hooded nibs. Nice pen btw

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Did you know about the Skywalker model?

It resembles the MB domed cap pens! (Starwalker)

I know how much you like MB pens from the other topics Goodguy!

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
