2nd FPN ink!

Information on the next FPN ink made by Noodler's Ink:

 

The ink will not be bulletproof. There are several reasons for this. One is to keep the price down. The bulletproof colors are significantly more expensive than the regular inks. Also, the bulletproof colors are slightly less vivid than the standard ink. The color will be chosen by the members of FPN. We will have several polls, starting with general color. Then we'll narrow it down. The final color choice will be at the discretion of the FPN Admin Team, choosing the color that most represents the choice of the members.

 

It will be named by the Admin Team.

 

As soon as we have an approximate color and name - we will again solicit label artwork

 

There have been questions about the smell of some Noodler's inks. The story is that you have a tradeoff of smell vs. mold resistance.

 

The question about feathering is related to dry time. You either get some feathering on cheap paper (and some not so cheap paper) or you get a long dry time - 38 seconds according to Nathan
