Konrad you panicked me when you wrote:

I also want to declare that Third group buy is the last group of my inks for very long time.

I started hyperventilating and had nausea attacks. It was terrible.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I've been checking my email inbox, though I had no idea that my fpn inbox was full. My apologies for the communication snag. I spoke with Konrad via email and I think everything is sorted out. Again, I'm sorry to cause a logistic snag.

I'm so looking forward to all the amazing inks. And thank you everyone involved in the group buy and logistics, double thanks to Knorad.

When we couldn't reach you via your email, we tried PM... just to find that it was full.

In any case, all is good now.

Dear participants in Group Buy #3 there might be some delays on delivery to US.

On November 2014 USPS changed it's information system and one of companies that was doing sorting of mail for them was replaced. Since that time there is constant build up of domestic undelivered mail in US which slowed flow of all packages in US. From January they made the same changes for international parcels which increased the build up of undelivered international parcels which was growing problem since November. Weather in February was bad in New York, but this can not be excuse for every problem and delay.

The status "Origin Post is preparing shipment" is not a glitch but intentional act made by USPS, so they do not have to respond to complaints and claims made to them. If they have large delays, than they simply do not scan the codes on packages and update international postal system, after that they pretend dumb when anybody asks about anything. During Holiday time they there is rapid increase in number of parcels send to and from US, and this is one of the reasons why we wanted to wait a bit with Group Buy #3, but honestly... it is almost end of March now!

From information seen on forums and calls I made to my post office is that delays on international parcels vary from 3 to 8 weeks (this is random). The last parcel to US with inks left Poland on board of plane 4 days ago, the first one 12 days ago.

I have to say that maybe I'm approaching this too emotionally but frustration from being powerless in this situation is overwhelming. Delays happen in international shipping and I can leave with that, but lack of information from USPS is a big problem.

I also found a petition on the Internet, it is hard to say is it going to help, but we can always try ;)

I have signed the petition & understand your frustration. However we will live with whatever time necessary to acquire your inks. It is certainly worth the wait.

I signed the petition. This is the second shipment to me from Europe this year that has temporarily joined Judge Crater and Jimmy Hoffa in the nebulous ether of ?????????.

To Konrad, I tend to be impatient about things like this but once the packages leave your hands you have done your job. It is out of your hands and I, for one, won't complain (to you) about the delays. To the USPS, to my wife, to my cats, yes but not to you.

The three inks I bought from you on the second group buy were so remarkable that I know this batch will be worth the wait. IG Turquoise is one amazing ink. I may have to stockpile that one. So is the Violet #9. You know your craft, sir. Thank you for making these inks available.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
