I just have to say how excited I am. Silly I know. I ordered a few bottles through the group buy and then couldn't wait and bought some directly from Konrad.

They should all be here over the next couple of days (I am in the UK) The exciting thing is that I can't remember what colours I actually ordered :-)

Shock, not horror, love me thinks...

Can't wait.

Got it got it got it!!!!!! :D

Hats off to Konrad, this ink is something else!

I grabbed the first clean pen (Pilot Kakuno Fine nib) which is usually a little scratchy, inked it up with KWZ Foggy Green and boom! SMOOTH AS BUTTER

I'm so excited to try the rest!

Super well wrapped, I cannot thank you enough for making it, wrapping it, organising it, shipping it.

I missed the postman yesterday so I have to wait until tomorrow to pick up the ink. I've gone for the IG Orange which I'm really excited about. I need to decide which pen to use. Exciting!

I missed the postman too, but I've just been down to the delivery office and collected my ink. Took longer to unwrap it than to fetch it.

Waiting with baited breath on invoices. *Totally* jealous of the UK people (I was in the second group of US buyers for the 3rd round).

Success! I was able to pick up my ink from the sorting office. The comments about the packaging are true. I reckon the price is for the packaging and the ink is free.

Oh my goodness, the IG Orange is magical. A delicious orange peel orange darkens in seconds in front of your eyes. I can't quite tell what it darkens to, but to my eyes it's not too different from my Noodler's Walnut (a favourite of mine). Perfect.

I have the Sailor Naginata and some fancy blade nibs coming after 2022 by a number of new workshop from China.  With all my respect, IMHO, they are all (bleep) in doing chinese characters.  Go use a bush, or at least a bush pen.

It is the reason why I'm so keen on the idea of a personal library — of pens, nibs, inks, paper products, etc. — and spent so much money, as well as time and effort, to “build” it for myself (because I can't simply remember everything, especially as I'm getting older fast) and my wife, so that we can “know”; and, instead of just disposing of what displeased us, or even just not good enough to be “given the time of day” against competition from >500 other pens and >500 other inks for our at

Agreed.  And I think it’s good to be aware of this early on and think about at the point of buying rather than rationalizing a purchase..

Alas, one cannot know “good” without some idea of “bad” against which to contrast; and, as one of my former bosses (back when I was in my twenties) used to say, “on the scale of good to bad…”, it's a spectrum, not a dichotomy. Whereas subjectively acceptable (or tolerable) and unacceptable may well be a dichotomy to someone, and finding whether the threshold or cusp between them lies takes experiencing many degrees of less-than-ideal, especially if the decision is somehow influenced by factors o

I got my first real fountain pen on my 60th birthday and many hundreds of pens later I’ve often thought of what I should’ve known in the beginning. I have many pens, the majority of which have some objectionable feature. If they are too delicate, or can’t be posted, or they are too precious to face losing , still they are users, but only in very limited environments..  I have a big disliking for pens that have the cap jump into the air and fly off. I object to Pens that dry out, or leave blobs o
